Re: MOOC (massive open online course) on Gut Microbiota

Dear Chris and all,

Thank you for sharing them!
Especially one about the exhibition in South Korea ignited great curiosity of mine and surely many of us Japanese! I'll get in touch with fellow Japanese who organised one in Tokyo to ask if they know something and, for now, commenting here hoping to hear more about it from other members!

Warm regards,

~Kanako

MOOC (massive open online course) on Gut Microbiota

Hi Everyone,

In addition to the upcoming MOOC on Sanitation, which Carol McCreary tweeted ...

I signed up for Planning & Design of Sanitation Systems and Technologies from @EPFL on @Coursera! www.coursera.org/course/sanitation … 5wks starts Oct13

... I found this one on the Gut Microbiome, which starts tomorrow, Oct 6 ...
www.coursera.org/course/microbiome

This can help us understand intestinal health and the need for sanitation, plus their metagenomic techniques can help us answer the ilusive question of when processed feces are no longer feces and no longer dangerous.

By the way, I also found this link to a children's museum in Korea all about poo. Does anyone have a more detailed link, with all the texts for the kids?
